'Twilight: New Moon' Gets Multiple Razzie Awards

While last year's extremely successful "Twilight Saga: New Moon" failed to receive any nominations at award shows such as the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes or the SAG, it did receive quite a few nominations at the 30th Annual Razzie Awards.

"New Moon" received nominations in the following categories: Worst Screen Couple, Worst Supporting Actor, Worst Remake, Rip-off or Sequel and Worst Screenplay. But have no fear "Twilight" fans. Nobody takes the Razzie Awards seriously. Half of the time, I think the people responsible for the nominations are just out to get attention. "Twilight" is one of the hottest topics on the world wide web, so why wouldn't they bring "Twilight" to their award show?

What do you guys think? Do you agree with the Razzie nominations? Or are they just trying to gain publicity for their ceremony?

Interestingly enough, anyone can vote for those nominated for a Razzie but you have to pay to do it. If they nominate someone as popular and actually good at his craft as Rob Pattinson, they will make money from people paying to vote for someone else so that Rob does not receive this mean spirited award. He certainly did not deserve the nomination and if he should win the award it would be a travesty. And, worst screen couple??? Who are they kidding. Taylor and Kristen maybe. Truly no chemistry there. But Rob and Kristen are incredibly hot in the Twilight movies. The chemistry is electric. What a slap in the face to fans of these movies. The Razzies have lost all credibility if they had any to begin with.
