You heard us right and it should come as no surprise. The reboot, which I have actually enjoyed so far, has been suffering severly in the viewership department. The network (The CW) even went as far as to fire...um...I mean...get rid of two of the show's primary actors including Colin Egglesfield (Auggie) and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. The network felt Auggie's story was too dark and claims Ashlee knew her story was coming to an end. Either way, the show hasn't exactly been performing well ratings wise. Of course, not until Heather Locklear made an appearance. The actress saved the original "Melrose Place" from getting the axe. Could she be the savior this reboot has been looking for? It looks like it considering her debut brought in an estimated 800,000 more viewers than the previous week. Only time will tell if Locklear can continue to help the ratings climb. We'll keep you updated.
